Note: Portrait Maker and Portrait Studio are the exact same web app. I use the former to refer to this stand-alone product and the latter to refer to the plugin version used with Avatar Maker, simply because it makes handling inquiries easier!

What's Inside?

I've tried to enforce some simple checking to prevent obviously bad combos but there's bound to be a few I've missed. Use this to explore possibilities or "random" for inspiration. When you've made a portrait you like, there's a button to save it out - either as a preset, or 64x64 and 144x144 PNG formats, ready for your game.

Where possible, I've grouped or named each layer with an indication of what it's intended for. Remember most layers can also be flipped for even more combinations.

Due to the popularity of the modular avatar series, I'm taking commissions for a limited time only for new accesories, hair or other layers to add to future downloads. It literally costs you the price of a coffee. Yes, that insanely cheap - all that work for just £4.

Here's how it works:

2. Leave a comment with the tip (it's easier to do this on ko-fi than itch.io) saying what layer you'd like drawn. Give me as much detail as you can, include links to reference art if you want it very specific. If you just say "a hat please", then I'll draw whatever hat first comes to mind :)

4. If I have a means of contacting you, I'll let you know as soon as the art is ready. It falls under my standard art license (below). This art isn't exclusive - I'll include it in a later upgrade pack for Avatar Maker so others can also enjoy it - but I'll send you a copy right now as a layer so you can use it immediately.
5. I'll do my utmost to draw what you want but there are some obviously off-limits requests and no refunds for a service this cheap. Don't ask for something silly OK? (includes trademarked or very obviously copyright or illegal material).

License

On purchase, you are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable, worldwide, and perpetual license to use the artwork, which means (in simple terms) -

Allowed:

• commercial use ✅
• modifications ✅
• credit me as "imaya zing - https://imayazing.itch.io/" ✅

NOT Allowed:

• reselling (even if modified), eg. as part of another asset pack 🚫
• claiming copyright of the artwork 🚫
